She just keeps on swimming… Soon after the release of the trailer for Disney Pixar’s upcoming Finding Dory – the sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo, more news has washed ashore, as a motion poster has been released by Pixar. Set six months after the original movie, the story will revolve around Dory as she sets out to find her family, with actress Ellen DeGeneres returning as the little fish in a big pond.
Previous cast members Albert Brooks (Marlin) and Willem Dafoe (Gill) will also return to the reef. Aside from these iconic and incredibly nostalgic characters, the movie will also include new cast members Diane Keaton who will play Jenny – Dory’s mother and Eugene Levy as Charlie – Dory’s father.
A synopsis of the blockbuster revealed by Pixar’s president Jim Morris explains that: “The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born. We will get to meet new characters, like an octopus, sea lions, a beluga whale, among others”. Finding Dory hits the US on June 17 and the UK on July 29, 2016.
