They’ve got their eye on you. BBC America has released a rather creepy, eye popping promo for their upcoming Orphan Black series 4. The 15 second clip features an extreme up-close of an eye; which appears to have a camera-like device embedded inside the iris. Set for release in April 2016, the new season will feature the return of Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) from the Icelandic hideout she fled to at the end of series 3 in order to track down an ally related to the clone that started it all – Beth Childs.
Returning cast members include Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Mrs. S), Kristian Bruun (Donnie), Kevin Hanchard (Art), Skyler Wexler (Kira). The rest of the synopsis reads: “Sarah will follow Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction”.
“Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah’s old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better”.
