Two huge talented artists Adam Driver and Lady Gaga joined forces to star in a brand new project House of Gucci directed by Ridley Scott about the murder of Maurizio, the grandson of Guccio Gucci.
Adam Driver will play Maurizio whereas Lady Gaga Patrizia Reggiani, Maurizio ex-wife. The duo got married in 1973 and had two children, Allegra and Alessandra. During their marriage, Reggiani was a well-known socialite who loved the finer things in life. “I would rather weep in a Rolls-Royce than be happy on a bicycle”, she is quoted as saying.
Indeed, Patrizia was sentenced for plotting the murder of Maurizio in 1995 after he left her for another woman. During all these years she gained notoriety as Italy’s ‘Black Widow’ and served 18 years in prison before being released in 2016.
To keep us on our toes, Lady Gaga has shared an image of heer and Driver posing for a snap in character on her Instagram with the caption, “Signore e Signora Gucci“.
Since then, a few more pictures have been shared online, where we can see the style and wardrobe of the actors, but we also get to see Jared Leto, who is completely unrecognizable with his baldness, prostheses, and a purple suit for his role as Paolo Gucci.
This huge movie will be available on November 24, meanwhile, we’ll have to wait to get more details about the plot and what is happening on the set. Check out some of the images from the set from this week below.
