In new red band trailer for Dirty Grandpa, Robert De Niro just wants to “F*ck, F*ck, F*ck, F*ck” . Whilst the first trailer didn’t leave much of a mark, the latest trailer has one wondering if this could actually be something to look forward to. The new trailer shows Robert De Niro getting real dirty, throwing profanities around him and getting it on with Aubrey Plaza. Sure Dirty Grandpa doesn’t look like a thought-provoking masterpiece that will have a major impact on the world.
It does however deliver quite a few laughs and sometimes that’s all you really need. De Niro seems to being have a complete blast so why not join him in his ridiculous antics? With a cast that consists of talents like Zac Efron and the always lovely Aubrey Plaza one’s expectations are automatically lifted a little. Efron isn’t exactly known for starring in great movies, but he is however a great comedic actor who always delivers (go watch him in Bad Neighbours if you need proof).
Here’s the official synopsis for the film; “Jason Kelly [Zac Efron] is one week away from marrying his boss’s uber-controlling daughter, putting him on the fast track for a partnership at the law firm. However, when the straight-laced Jason is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, Dick [Robert De Niro], to Daytona for spring break, his pending nuptials are suddenly in jeopardy. Between riotous frat parties, bar fights, and an epic night of karaoke, Dick is on a quest to live his life to the fullest and bring Jason along for the ride. Ultimately, on the wildest journey of their lives, “dirty” Grandpa and his uptight grandson discover they can learn from one another and form the bond they never had”. Dirty Grandpa is slated for a January 22, 2016 release.
