New Trailer For ‘Life Itself’ Promises Tear Jerking Generational Crossover | Film Trailers

Pull your tissues out, because the new trailer for the Amazon Studios‘ drama Life Itself promises a lot of heart-wrenching moments.

The film was written and directed by Dan Fogelman, the creator of NBC’s hit show This Is Us, as well as Crazy, Stupid, Love and it stars an A-list cast, featuring Oscar Isaac (Star Wars) Olivia Wilde, Annette Bening and Antonio Banderas.

According to IMDb, the official plot of the movie reads as follow: “a young New York couple goes from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child, the unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes.”

The trailer just released unfolds this generational entanglement and shows the main characters throughout their journey as they live, love and experience loss.

Given Fogelman’s ability to portray different generations and link them between each other, Life Itself, as the title already foresee, should aptly draws from what we are already witnessing and appreciating in Awards winner series This Is Us, while at the same time providing a solid, sentimental drama.

The movie will open in theatres on September, 21. In the meantime you can watch the trailer below:
