The new trailer for the upcoming Hardcore Henry film has dropped. According to the STX Entertainment site, the new action packed movie is set to be “one of the most unflinchingly original wild-rides to hit the big screen in a long time.”
Originality appears to be its strong point, as visible in the trailer, however it will be interesting to see if the film will contain any actual substance other than the first-person point of view. STX continues:
“You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been bought back from the dead by your wife. She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back.”
The film includes Haley Bennett in the role of Henry’s wife, as well as Sharlto Copley, who famously played Wikus in the Oscar nominated science-fiction film District 9. The film is scheduled for a April 2016 release. Take a look at the action-packed trailer below!
