Nick Frost To Star In ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Special | TV News
Shaun of The Dead and Hot Fuzz creator/actor Nick Frost has been announced to join the ever growing cameo list of BBC’s new Doctor Who series. Frost is not to star in just any odd episode but this years Christmas special, which will also include fellow actors Natalie Gumede from Coronation Street, and Michael Troughton (Enigma, Holby City).
When asked about his appearance, Frost said, “I’m so thrilled to have been asked to guest in the Doctor Who Christmas special, I’m such a fan of the show“. After working on final ‘cornetto’ trilogy film The World End with best friend and co-writer Simon Pegg (Star Trek, How To Lose Friends And Alienate People) and director Edgar Wright back in 2013, Frost is also set to star in Fraser Grut’s 2015 release of childhood fantasy movie Syrenia.
