Nick Nash – Blood Over Water | New Music

Nick Nash is an Alt-country singer-songwriter who has been raised in Utah along the Wasatch Front and is now living between Nashville, Salt Lake City, and Dallas. He’s also practicing corporate law in Dallas.

In 2017 he released his debut Ep titled Fear Of Perdition. It includes melodies which reflect the inner transitions from the darkness of doubt to the clarity of self-redemption. Nick creates profoundly honest lyrics with simple song structure to show the true feeling of the heart, sadness and peace.

MonkeyGoose Magazine has said about him :

His resonance leans towards a sweet blend of Ryan Adams and Gregory Alan Isakov, with a songwriting urbanity of Jason Isbell”.

Nowadays, he’s back with his first LP Fortress of Gold due to be released soon. Nick Nash wants to talk about his decision to walk away from some music opportunities after graduating, and his album details what happened to him during that time period.

As a taste of his upcoming album, Nick Nash has shared his second song titled “Blood Over Water”, it’s a smooth and rhythmic indie rock ballad featuring female vocals. It sensitively deals with family rifts and what happens when we rejected our origins.

if you want to fight a war, then go elsewhere
There is no use in fighting your own cause when the water dies up, your blood is still there
