North London Artist TRTL Unveils Catchy New Single ‘Could Be’

North London musician TRTL is back with a brand new release. The track titled “Could Be” is the second release of her upcoming EP Perception. The song was produced by JayBenJay (AJ Tracey) and is described as a 90s feel R&B track about looking with a positive perspective at bad situations.

The objective of the song is to encourage the listeners to be grateful for what they have and to help uplift people during trying times, acknowledging that even though things are bad, they could be a lot worse.

TRTL says that “I wrote the song to uplift people in difficult times (especially with the whole pandemic going on) and just as a distraction from the difficult situations that people might be in”.

After the pandemic hit, her music became a beacon of hope, uplifting the spirits of her listeners. She also has the support from TasteMakers from Kiss, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Introducing, TWIB and others.

TRTL is an artist within the R&B and Soul genres but also likes to experiment with different genres and one of her goals is to inspire as many people as possible.

She started writing music back in 2017 and released her debut single “Stay True” in 2019. Her single “Protek” released last year was acclaimed because of its raw emotions. She is influenced by artists such as HER, SZA and Ravyn Lenae, having IAMDDB as one of her favourite artists.
