Remember that time when Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne bit the head off of a bat at one of his live shows? Well if you didn’t, here’s a reminder.
At a live show, a fan threw the presumably dead bat onto the stage. Ozzy, king of rock and roll, assumed it was rubber, and in a fit of rage bit the head off. Seconds later he realised the bat was definitely not rubber, and I’m laughing as I type this.
Incidentally he was taken to hospital immediately for a rabies shot, and the rock star continued to make jokes about the incident hereon-after in films like Little Nicky and his Live and Loud DVD.
But now he takes things a step further, by marking 37 years since the bat bite with an odd new cuddly toy with a detachable head – very fitting to the rock star life, I suppose.
Today marks the 37th Anniversary since I bit a head off a f*cking bat! Celebrate with this commemorative plush with detachable head.https://t.co/Of23jCDtaa pic.twitter.com/U8ZkmOYOey

The real question is, why did a fan have a dead bat to begin with?
