Pamela Anderson Is ‘Setting The Record Straight’ With New Netflix Documentary

Pamela Anderson has announced the creation of a new Netflix documentary, where she will be “setting the record straight” about her professional and personal life.

The documentary will be directed by Ryan White and will be produced by Anderson’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee. It will feature exclusive archival footage and interviews, including access to Anderson’s personal journals.

The 54-year-old Baywatch star announced the documentary on Instagram, with a statement which read: “My life. A thousand imperfections. A million misperceptions. Wicked, wild and lost. Nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you. Not a victim, but a survivor. And alive to tell the real story.”

The announcement of the documentary comes in the wake of the controversial Hulu miniseries, Pam and Tommy. Released on February 2nd 2022, the series tells the story of Anderson’s leaked sex tape in the 1990s. According to multiple sources, Hulu producers reached out to Anderson but she consistently declined being a part of the show. Since its release, she has refused to watch it.

Hulu however, didn’t need Anderson’s permission to make the miniseries, as they claim it was based off of a 2014 Rolling Stones article titled, “Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape”. Therefore, Anderson’s story was able to be recreated without any of her input.

Although it seems like the upcoming Netflix documentary is in direct response to Pam & Tommy, Netflix have in fact revealed that the film “has been in the making for several years”.

This just proves how desperate the ex-Playboy model has been to tell her own story.
