Paul Feig Releases Image of New ‘Ghostbusters’ Uniforms And Proton Pack | Film News

With filming well underway in Boston, director Paul Feig has decided to let us have a sneak peak at what the new Ghostbusters uniforms look like via his Twitter account, complete with name tags for each cast member’s personal uniform. He also later on tweeted a picture of the new proton pack. The nostalgic look of the uniforms is pleasing to many, with the uncanny resemblance to the original jumpsuits worn by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis in the original films, just with a little modernizing.

Not much has been revealed to the public about the progression of the movie, except the plot details. The plot will surround a book about the existence of ghosts published by Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy that resurfaces after many years of neglect. The book causes Wiig to lose her job at Colombia University and so the two gang up with Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon to take up ghost-wrangling on the streets of Manhattan. She gets her revenge on those that teased her about believing in ghosts when the ghosts play havoc and the team are needed to save the day. Chris Hemsworth will co-star as their assistant. Ghostbusters is set for a July 2016 release.
