Paul Walker‘s father is reportedly beginning legal action against Porsche, following the death of his son in 2013 which he feels could have been avoided. Walker was a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT that crashed and caught fire, but his father believes that if Porsche has included more safety features in their vehicle, his son would have made it out alive.
This news comes a week after Porsche responded to a wrongful death lawsuit made by Walker’s bereaved daughter, Meadow Walker. They stated that the actor knew the “risk, perils and danger” and thus claimed his death was “his own comparative fault“. Meadow’s attorney, Jeff Milam, criticised the response stating, “if Porsche had designed the car to include proper safety features, Paul would have survived, he would be filming Fast and Furious 8, and Meadow Walker would have the father she adored“.
