British actress, writer, and television producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge has joined the Indiana Jones 5 cast to play alongside Harrison Ford.
The production of the upcoming movie from the popular Indiana Jones saga has not revealed a lot of information about the details of the plot, but they have given some clues here and there, especially about the cast.
According to sources, Phoebe Waller-Bridge should play the main female character of the upcoming installment, but her character’s name and storyline has not been revealed yet. Of course we know that Harrison Ford will star as the protagonist archeologist but we don’t know what relationship he has with this female character yet.
It has also been revealed that Steven Spielberg, who directed the previous movies will make way for James Mangold to be the main director of this last part of the saga, even though he will still serve as a producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel.

When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself”, Mangold said about directing the film.
This well composed and experienced team should produce a film that lives up to the expectations of fans of the saga who will have to wait a little longer to see the famous adventurer on the big screen again. Indiana Jones 5 will premiere on July 29, 2022.
