Legendary Grunge band The Pixies have announced they’re to re-release their classic album Doolittle. 2014 marks twenty five years since the band’s second album was released on 4AD records, the re-release will be made up of three CDs of rarities, B sides and John Peel sessions and will be re-issued on the 1st of December. The original album included great songs such as “Debaser”, “Wave Of Mutilation”, “I Bleed”, “Monkey’s Gone To Heaven”, “Hey”, “La La Love You”, “Crackity Jones” and “Gouge Away”.
Doolittle reached number 8 in the UK charts upon release and has been featured in many album ‘Best Of’ lists following critical acclaim. Recently the band issued latest album Indie Cindy, and recruited new bassist Paz Lenchantin after a series of unsuccessful replacements following Kim Deal’s departure in 2013.
