Raleigh Ritchie – Time In A Tree | Music Video

Re-emerging into music after all the hype with Game Of Thrones, Bristol-born singer/songwriter Raleigh Ritchie reaffirmed how much of a sure-fire talent he really was with his latest single “Time In A Tree“. He now proves he has great directing abilities as he releases the brand new visuals to match.

Being his first real piece of music since Mind The Gap, the track itself is about “needing some peace” and “time away from your own mind” and escapism. The video builds on the concept with Raleigh’s desire to be 7-year-old again; a feeling I’m sure a lot of us can relate to.

Inside a lift is the main focus of the video and around our protagonist Raleigh are different representations of him in different landmarks of life. The bits that were make or break for him. But what if we could reach out to our younger selves and advise and console? What if we could build on the person you’re scared of becoming, and become the person that you want to be?

It’s a well crafted video and with a tour to come this winter, the promise of new music and a possible album is all too real
