Rihanna Announces ‘Rihanna’ Visual Autobiography | Music News

 

Rihanna has announced the release of her “visual autobiography”, which is due to hit the shelves in the next few months. The book titled simply Rihanna is over 500 pages-long and contains more than 1,000 “intimate” photos.

 

The “Umbrella” hitmaker shared the news on Instagram, previewing her newest offering with the caption, “Happy to finally share this collection of incredible memories… thank you to all of the photographers and artists that contributed and to @phaidonsnaps for working with me to publish my first piece of art in a new industry”.

According to a press release, the upcoming book described as a “visual autobiography” will feature photographs of Rihanna’s “life as a musician, performer, designer, and entrepreneur”, some of which have never been published before.

 

Rihanna is slated to land in bookshops later this Autumn via Phaidon. In addition to the standard version, the autobiography will be available in three deluxe editions, including custom gadgets like a bookstand, tabletop bookstand, and marble pedestal, created with The Haas Brothers.

 

Phaidon’s CEO Keith Fox said in a statement, “We are excited and proud to publish this incredible book by this extremely talented and influential woman. Rihanna is such an important and groundbreaking artist, style icon, and entrepreneur and we are looking forward to sharing her fascinating life with a larger audience”.
