UK artist RONA has dropped her brand-new single “Wave”, that features JNR Choi, in a double-single release, alongside with other new song “U Still Up”.
The song, a collaboration with model and rapper JNR Choi, is an upbeat record that showcases RONA’s ability to produce enticing melodies. RONA sees JNR Choi’s joins her in this contemporary R&B piece, to bring his rap input to her raw and honest vocals.
RONA is a British singer and songwriter, whose ability to marry intense lyrical concepts with striking images and state-of-the-art has led to her working with top UK and US producers. She has previously released three singles, reaching more than 340k streams on Spotify alone.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, RONA explains: “As a female in this industry, I was fed up with the constant issues that were happening at the time and ‘Wave’ addresses this. Unfortunately a lot of female artists take a few hard hits early in their career – including myself – and it takes a couple of hard hits before that confidence really kicks in”.
