Two trailers for the returning Robot Wars have been released, with the chilling teasers suggesting the return of two house robots. Despite being covered up, the thirty second clips hint at the reawakening of the classic Dead Metal and Matila. Currently, it is unknown whether fellow house robots Shunt, Sergeant Bash and Sir Killalot will also return to the revived old school series, but we’re certainly hoping for a full team reunion.
It was announced last month that Mock the Week‘s Dara O Briain and RTE broadcaster Angela Scanlon will be hosting the show; leaving several fans disappointed that former presenter Craig Charles won’t be returning. Originally airing from 1998 to 2002, the revived series has promised several technological advances with top-of-the-range cameras to capture the fights in detail.
