Moscow rock band NEEDSHES have just released a new single called “When You’re Tough Like a Stone”. It’s a bluesy song with guitar arrangements that brings back the daring rock’n’roll sound.
“Just like girls, boys have these days when they want to shout out loud that they are men. If you can’t control it, just pick up the guitar and make rock”, said band leader Otabek.
Speaking of Otabek, he founded NEEDSHES in 2013 in Moscow, it was only in 2016 that Ivan on guitar and Alexey on drums joined the band.
Otabek began his musical journey in his early childhood, he attended the music academy in his hometown Tashkent, in Uzbekistan, his interests are varied and he is attracted to metalcore composition. Today he is an author, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and founder of the alternative rock/pop band NEEDSHES.
The eclectic-style band NEEDSHES recently performed online at the MONDO NYC show in 2020, and last June, they won the Independent Music Awards in the Song Used in Ad category with their single “Unbelievable”.
They also performed at the FIFA World Cup Fan Festival and were invited to the You Me At Six concert in 2019. This year in addition to their new single, the band performed at the NAMM Global Livestream event.
