In mid July, Gutterdämmerung, billed as “the loudest silent movie on earth”, was unveiled along with a cast studded with rock stars, including Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins, and Grace Jones. Yesterday, the next two big names to feature in Gutterdämmerung were unveiled; Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, and Slayer’s Tom Araya.
Kilmister’s character is described as a “mad general” who “leads the armour cavalry in a dark, crazy and explosive moment for the two heroines“, whilst Araya plays the “messenger of darkness, who brings the light to our hellish tale by putting the silver screen on fire”.
