Sam Smith confirmed that he will be collaborating with Disclosure again via his Twitter account. Smith, who has recently been banned from singing or speaking after undergoing surgery on his vocal cords in May, wrote on his Twitter account, “Surprise! NEW F***ING MUSIC LITTLE SAILORS“. Shortly after publishing this, he retweeted the message from London electronic duo Disclosure that read “That’s right .. Round two, here we go @Samsmithworld“. Both acts shared the same black and white image of Sam with Disclosure’s trademark white lines etched into his face. Sam later shared on his instagram in excitement, “I have just found out I have sold 8 F***ING MILLION RECORDS of ‘In The Lonely Hour’ WHAT THE ACTUAL F***“.
