Sam Smith has shared the brand new visuals for one more song, called “One Last Song“. It has some faux snow, a few ballerinas and a huge dose of melancholy, starting from the break-up themed lyrics, ending with those sad puppy eyes. In fact, it is stunningly beautiful.
“I am so excited to reveal the music video for my second single ‘One Last Song’. This track is my final love song directed to an old love of mine. I love singing this and I had so much fun making the video. After a 25 hour shoot, I truly believe we created something beautiful,” said the artist in his Facebook post.
Directed by Joe Connor, the clip was made to look like a one continuous shot. Cameras follow Sam wandering around the London Palladium theatre. The artist starts onstage and moves through the basement and hallways, passes the venue staff, paparazzis, rehearsing dancers and ends up on the rooftop with a view to cloudy London’s panorama.
This video follows “Too Good at Goodbyes“, the first single from the artist’s sophomore studio album The Thrill Of It All, which was released at the beginning of the month. The record has already hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 Album Chart.
