It’s official and oh so, so welcomed: Sarah Wayne Callies is to return as Sara Tancredi for the revival of Prison Break. She has been in talks to reprise her role for a while now and now that’s it been confirmed, she will join the previously announced cast of Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell.
The last series ended with Miller’s character Micheal Scofield dead and buried, and with Sara raising their child with her new husband, hearing whispers that Miller might still be alive. Fox has said: “When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever”.
