“Unfound” is the latest single from dream/post-folk band Sea Offs. Made up of songwriters Olivia Price and Rashmit Arora, the duo met at Penn State University and are releasing their debut album What’s The Point on March 31. The new album comes on the back of their 2016 EP Sea The Blind and its critically acclaimed single “Leave” which garnered over 200,000 streams upon release.
I’ve been having this conversation with myself about how music publications share music, I know sometimes it has to do with the profile of the artist and how many new readers an artist can bring to a publication or relationships with publicists or whatever else, but other times and for lesser know artists, the music really just has to instinctively compel an editor or journalist to share it, and that’s the bottom line.
I say all that to say this, “Unfound” from Sea Offs did just that for me, the combination of the record and the storytelling in the visuals meant I couldn’t just ‘pass on this’. Anyway check it out for yourself below and if you like what you hear, you can keep tabs on Sea Offs here as we await their debut album.
