The massive marching band drums sound at the opening of Sean O’Neill’s new single “Carried In the Wind”, gives the song a dramatic, intense feel right from the beginning. Followed by trumpets, piano, and hand clapping accompaniment, this song’s unique composition opposes the light and dreamlike feel of O’Neill’s previously released single “Vienna”. Both numbers are starkly different and very good. The sparse lyrical arrangement of the song makes the various instruments more powerful and prominent. This is the first single of his upcoming EP to be released on October 20. Listen below to this beautiful song.
