A new project by Selfridges entitled ‘The Masters’ is set to launch this Thursday, the 21st of August. Twelve of fashion’s most accomplished designers have created a capsule collection or a significant piece that defines them, exclusively for Selfridges. The project explores and celebrates the pioneers and inventors who shaped the world of fashion including the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Jean Pual Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli, Paul Smith and Stella McCartney among others. A dedicated Oxford street window will be given to every Master and each is inspired by a different film genre. An artistic fashion film which summarizes the innovative vision of each Master has also been created by SHOWstudio.
