This morning, Seth Rogan has taken to Twitter to announce the trailer release for the hotly anticipated adult animation comedy Sausage Party.

Sausage Party tells the story of a sausage and his quest to find out the meaning of his existence. The film was written by double-trouble duo Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, and stars the voices of Rogen, Kristen Wiig, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Edward Norton, Michael Cera, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson to name but a few.
A red band version of the trailer was also released via Sony Pictures’ Youtube channel, which you can see below.
Sausage Party is directed by Greg Tiernan & Conrad Vernon and is set for release August 16.
