South London Producer Mom Tudie Releases New Single ‘Better Days’ Featuring Sidders

South London producer Mom Tudie has returned with brand new music. “Better Days” is a warm, soulful song with hip-hop, R&B and jazz influences and brims with positivity with a powerful message of hope and unity. The soft tunes of the piano and the track’s rhythm section combine weill with singer and rapper Sidders, who gives an irresistible vocal performance.

Speaking about the track, Sidders said: “Better Days was written in a time and place of uncertainty with Covid / BLM and the message was to spread love and something positive. It’s an open letter trying to slow down the anxieties we have, even to show there’s more than what we feel on our own. Everyone’s in this together”.

24-year-old Mom Tudie has been creating music from a young age. His family always showed support and helped where they could. Since he moved to South London, he’s become part of a widely creative network of friends and collaborators including Tom Misch, Ezra Collective, Puma Blue, Poppy Ajudha and many more.

Speaking about the new song “Better Days”, Mom Tudie added: “Me and Sidders first worked together a couple years back. I knew I wanted to work with him again, I was just waiting for the right time. For Better Days we first did stuff remotely because it was peak lockdown. As soon as I could I jumped on a train down to see him in Brighton and we laid it down. Sid oozes energy, happiness and positivity, I think that really comes through in the song”.

Mom Tudie has given the freedom to express himself through music as a self-taught producer. He takes inspiration from a variety of artists such as Mura Masa, James Blake and Athletic Progression.

Praised by the likes of Complex, The Line Of Best Fit, Ones To Watch, DIY Magazine, TRENCH and more, he has streams surpassing 3 million, along with co-signs like Mary Anne Hobbs and Jamz Supernova.

This new single “Better Days” stands for another compelling step forward for the project. We can expect more new music from Mom Tudie throughout the rest of 2021.
