The highly anticipated Star Trek: Discovery television series, produced and set to be distributed by CBS, has finally jumped into production! To mark the start of production, CBS TV Studios dropped some new behind-the-scenes footage from the set.
The minute-long clip features designs of a few of the Federation starships, new Starfleet uniforms and the captain’s chair from the new show.
The news that Star Trek: Discovery has finally begun its production comes as a relief to fans who were disappointed following the delay of the new installment in the franchise, but CBS have yet to set a new premiere date.
