Steven S. DeKnight Replaces Drew Goddard As Director For ‘Daredevil’ Series | TV News
Steven S. DeKnight will be directing the Netflix TV series Daredevil, taking over from Drew Goddard. Apparently, Goddard stepped down from the role in March this year. He managed to complete the script for the first two episodes and will act as an executive producer for the remainder of the season. Goddard cannot commit to the TV series as he is now directing a spin-off from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 titled Sinister Six. The two directors previously worked together on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The Netflix TV series will consist of 13 episodes, and is set to air on Netflix in 2015.
