Despite being crowned this year’s winner alongside her singing celebrity partner Jay McGuiness, professional dancer Aliona Vilani has decided to leave BBC’s hit show Strictly Come Dancing. The dancing expert happily revealed that this year’s series has been her “best Strictly experience ever“. This however wasn’t the fist time Vilani lifted the Glitterball trophy, for she previously won in 2011 alongside McFly drummer Harry Judd.
She announced her departure on Twitter, revealing that the outcome of the latest series had absolutely no impact on her decision, see her tweet below:
