Superhero Movies Are Sexist According To ‘Suicide Squad’ Actress Cara Delevingne | Film News

Despite starring in DC’s upcoming Suicide Squad actress Cara Delevingne has said that she thinks most superhero movies are sexist. The actress who is playing Enchantress in David Ayer’s film about mercenary super villains, questioned the costume choices of female superheroes. Speaking to Empire Magazine, Delevigne said, “there are only three girls in Suicide Squad but in my opinion they have the best roles. Generally though, superhero movies are totally sexist. Female superheroes are normally naked or in bikinis. No-one would be able to fight like that. Wonder Woman, how the hell does she fight? She would be dead in a minute“. Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Jai Courtney star alongside Delevingne in the upcoming Suicide Squad.
