SYNJ Releases Debut Single ‘Loved Me Well’ From Upcoming EP ‘In Between’

SYNJ (she/they) has released her debut solo single “Loved Me Well”, which captures the feelings of anxiety and uncertainty in a relationship that seemed too good to be true. Born in Orange County, CA, she is heavily influenced by R&B and Pop musicians of the 90s and 00s.

Prior to her solo work, she participated in several a cappella projects for Aperture, The Chaptones and Chapman SoundCheck, and has had the privilege of working with various artists and mentors such as Jason Mraz, Natalie Weiss and Ben Bram.

SYNJ has been writing original music since the age of 9 and has been classically trained as a singer for over 10 years. Her powerful and sensual alto tone complements her powerful lyricism, which can be heard in “Loved Me Well”

SYNJ’s debut EP, In Between, is scheduled for release in late 2022, featuring production by her close friends Dipherious and Avo (“Loved Me Well”), as well as Sav Sykes.

“This has been a huge dream of mine since I was a little kid to record and release my own music, and I’m just super excited to finally be making that dream a reality. As an independent artist with no team and no label, it’s extremely difficult, but I’m learning so much and I can’t wait to release more music soon”, SYNJ confides.
