‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’ Sequel To Begin Shooting Next Month | Film News

News of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel has been confirmed as it appears shooting will begin next month in New York City and Buffalo. This time round, instead of Jonathan Liebesman in the directors chair (he’s off to work on the King Arthur flick Man at Arms), David Green will be stepping in. Alongside him, Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec will be penning the script with Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form producing for Platinum Dunes.

While they haven’t officially signed on yet, Megan Fox and William Fichtner are expected to reprise their roles. I have to admit, I never watched TMNT when I was younger so nothing was going to make me see the new movie but I’ve heard that the flick isn’t actually as bad as critics said so I’m sure the sequel will easily find its audience. Still, for those who were dissapointed; perhaps seeing Green in the director’s chair will find them a new and improved movie?
