Aussie Actress Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) has been cast as the lead for Atomic Monster‘s Lights Out, which James Wan is set to produce. This will be the studio’s second collaboration with New Line Cinema after Annabelle, which grossed over $250 million last year. Not to mention, Wan’s collaboration with New Line on Annabelle‘s predecessor The Conjuring, which grossed over $310 million on a modest $20 million budget in 2013.
Lights Out surrounds a sister and younger brother who are confronted with an evil entity that only manifests itself when the lights go out. David Sandburg is set to direct, making his full length directorial debut with Lights Out, based on a short film which he made of the same name in 2013 – which you can watch below.
