Loved British TV star, Patrick Macnee has died, aged 93. The Avengers star died at his home in California on Thursday (June 25). It is said that his family were at his bedside when he died of natural causes. Macnee starred in the series alongside many strong female partners, including Honor Blackman, Diana Rigg and Joanna Lumley. The show ran from 1961 to 1969 and was reprised in the 1970s, with an unsuccessful film adaptation in the 1980s. Rest in peace Macnee.
