The Best Red Carpet Looks Of Time 100 Gala | Fashion News

Celebrating 2019’s most influential people, the annual TIME 100 Gala brought some of them together on Tuesday night at the Jazz Lincoln Center, in New York. On the red carpet, the star power was palpable, with some of the world’s biggest stars dressed for the occasion.

This year, for the first time, the members of the TIME 100 community were invited to speak at a TIME 100 Summit in New York City. At the event, there were attendees from the worlds of politics and business including Apple CEO Tim Cook, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and former Senator Bob Corker as well as amazing artists, scientists, actors and activists who reflect the remarkable breadth of the TIME 100.

TIME 100’s goal is to spotlight the progress these individuals are making and encourage collaboration toward a better world. “We are only as good as the people that we have around us,” says chef and activist José Andrés, a two-time TIME 100 honoree, who will spoke at the summit about how to improve disaster relief. “TIME 100 makes all become one.”

And yesterday night, some of the TIME 100 honorees walked the red carpet, and between them we selected the best looks of the night.

First of all Taylor Swift, who performed during the gala itself, was a real princess as she hit the red carpet in stunning pastel J. Mendel gown that fits perfectly into the aesthetic that she’s adopted on Instagram as she prepares for her new album era.

Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, who received a glowing tribute from Dame Emma Thompson, saying she had “the courage of a small lion, the stamina of a Welsh pit pony and the soul of a clown.” Clarke wore a red Dolce & Gabbana gown, paired with matching heels.

Brie Larson arrived on the East Coast a day after being in Los Angeles for the world premiere of Avengers: Endgame. The Captain Marvel actress wore a green, strapless gown with her hair pulled back.

British supermodel Naomi Campbell was also in attendance. She wore a floor-length gold dress, complete with sleeves.

Killing Eve‘s Sandra Oh was another famous name on the list. She was nominated by Shonda Rhimes. Oh wore a black, one-shoulder dress, complete with white feather details. The look was completed with a black clutch bag.
