The Blonds electrified New York Fashion Week with their Fall/Winter 2024 runway show, featuring a collection that paid homage to the fiery spirit of Latin culture.
Held at the Starrett Lehigh on Saturday, February 10th, the event drew a star-studded crowd including Becky G, Candice Huffine, and Crystal Waters, among other VIP guests.
In a celebration of Latin culture’s vibrant essence, The Blonds unveiled their Fall/Winter 2024 collection under the theme “¡FUEGO!“, a powerful metaphor capturing the passion and intensity that defines Latin identity.
Drawing inspiration from iconic Latin figures, the collection featured five avant-garde hairstyles, crafted in collaboration with TRESemmé by celebrity hairstylist Lacy Redway.
The runway was ablaze with over-the-top glamour, as models strutted in shimmering Preciosa crystal-embellished ensembles. From show-stopping feathers to sleek animal prints, the collection embodied the intensity and brilliance of flames, affirming Latin culture’s enduring legacy.
The Blonds’ partnership with TRESemmé underscored the integral role of hair as a form of artistic expression. “Hair is like art as it connects to fashion,” remarked The Blonds. Through TRESemmé’s hairstyles, the vision of Latin glamour was brought to life, further enhancing the immersive experience of the show.
Phillipe Blond‘s personal runway appearance highlighted the brand’s fusion of fashion and music, embodying the infectious energy of Latin inspiration. The collection transcended traditional boundaries, offering a fresh perspective on fashion that resonated with attendees.
