The 2018 hit thriller A Quiet Place is finally getting its sequel A Quiet Place Part II and the final trailer is out now. The film should be out on May 28, and as the cinemas are slowly but surely reopening, this should be even more exciting to go and watch.
For this sequel, we will find again, our Abbott family with Evelyn played by Emily Blunt and Lee by John Krasinski, as well as Marcus played by Noah Jupe and Regan by Millicent Simmonds. Some new characters have made their way to the sequel such as Cillian Phurphy and Lauren-Ashley Cristiano joining the cast.
Again survival in silence will be the key to their adventure in this post-apocalyptic world. The movie will follow the first movie as the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to move the family into the unknown, they will quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond their sand path.
In this final trailer, we see a flashback to Lee in a grocery shop when he first learns of things going awry on TV news. Following a sequence of events, with the family jump down water piping to get away from the film’s monsters.
The film is directed and written by Krasinski, with the help of Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. Krasinski, JoAnn Perritano and Allyson Seeger will serve as executive producers.
As Krasinski explains the premise and how he wanted to see evolving the movie: “I had this small idea, which was to make Millie the lead of the movie. Not only did I think she would give an amazing performance, which I knew she could do, but her character opens the door to all the themes I was dealing with in the first movie“.
Only three weeks to go before the movie comes out and while we wait May 28, please find below the final trailer of the thriller.
