‘The Simpsons’ Episode Written By Judd Apatow To Air After 25 Years | TV News

Judd Apatow who is known for the film Knocked Up, wrote an episode of The Simpsons 25 years ago, but during that time his script was rejected. The episode, which has now been accepted through some media promotion, is titled Bart’s New Friend. Apparently his efforts at writing an episode were poor, but the Simpsons writers had gone to work on his script, and managed to get it up to standard. Apatow describes his Simpsons episode for us saying, “Homer gets hypnotised and thinks he’s a 10-year-old. He has such a great time being Bart’s friend that he doesn’t want to become an adult again“. It does sound like a classic episode, even if the original draft was poor. The new and exciting episode will air on US channel FOX this Sunday, January 11.
