The Stone Foxes have just unveiled their new single “The Death Of Me” featured on their new EP Gold, out on February 28, 2020.
The Stone Foxes are a successful band, which have amassed a global fanbase with more than 30 million Spotify spins from over 218,000 monthly listeners and relentless touring over the past decade. Singer Shannon Koehler and his brother Spence Koehler penned The Stone Foxes’ latest bout of stunners, performed alongside a cast of all-star collaborators.
The new EP Gold will feature an inward outlook as well as a view of the societal turmoil bombarding us all on the daily. “The Death Of Me” is a energetic and vital Indie song. Electric guitar licks open the song, accompanied by arches and the singer’s powerful voice. A catchy chorus, a beating rhythm and guitar riffs generally characterise the track.
“The Death Of Me” brings vocalist Shannon Koehler to his knees belting, “I sent her away on the old tarmac, now I cry every night hoping she come back.” When love is destined to be easy and free but turns into a storm of unsettled emotions and loss, Shannon confronts the ultimate pain of saying goodbye.
The Stone Foxes will premiere their new album with headlining appearances at the Adidas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon (Santiago, Chile, on November 9) and NoisePop 2020 (The Independent, San Francisco, on February 29, 2020). In spring 2020, The Stone Foxes will bring their new project in the United States (February – April 2020).
