During a particular and powerful scene in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we see Kylo Ren facing the charred remnants of Darth Vader’s helmet. The significance of this will be left out in case of spoilers, but even in its appearance during the trailer, it had left many fans in sheer excitement. David Prowse, the original actor who played Darth Vader (dubbed by James Earl Jones) has recently shared an image of what really happened to the villain’s iconic helmet.
Posting from his Facebook page, it depicts what the helmet looked like following the Pyre funeral scene at the end of Return of the Jedi. Many fans were of course delighted to see such a different take to what remains of the villain, but are more or less accepting with both of its iterations.
