With the success of AMC’s series The Walking Dead, it comes as no surprise that a spin-off series went into production to further the zombie-filled universe. Fear The Walking Dead will be a prequel to the popular series and investigate the processes that occurred before the original series. Based in Los Angeles, with a new set of characters, the series investigate the events which lead to ‘the end of the world’.
The cast includes Gone Girl’s Kim Dickens and Into the Storm’s Alycia Debnam-Carey who must deal with the initial outbreak of the zombie apocalypse. Fear The Walking Dead will be broadcast on AMC’s UK launch on BT’s YouView platform, which is exclusive to BT customers, and will premiere on August 31 at 9pm on AMC.
