Canadian singer The Weeknd has signed to Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in an all areas worldwide deal, after having been previously represented by WME. We unfortunately don’t have any details on the contract, terms, and conditions of the agreement as of yet.
The agency and The Weeknd are already looking forward to this new partnership, with CAA’s Christian Carino saying “Abel, Sal and their team are as ambitious in their thinking as we are, clearly seeing the special opportunities they have, both in building their business to new heights and having a meaningful cultural impact. We are honored to play a role in helping shape Abel’s next chapter“.
Managed by Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby and Amir ‘Cash’ Esmailian, with press representation by Kathryn Frazier of Biz 3, The Weeknd recently announced the return of his world tour, which is set to kick off on January 2022, with tickets going on sale a few weeks ago.
The singer is a real diamond for any agency with a prize list that continues to grow more and more every year. The star, who just performed at the Super Bowl LV Halftime Show, has released four albums, three mixtapes and dozens of single. He also has a long list of awards under his belt including three Grammy Awards and ten Juno Awards.
We hope that this new partnership will be as beneficial as the previous one and will take the artist to greater heights for his future projects.
