JW Anderson Collaborates With Luxury Brand Moncler For Second Genius Collection | Fashion News

Renowned Italian luxury brand Moncler has just unveiled something that is sure to attract the attention of fashion fans! Indeed the luxury house has unveiled a picture to promote the upcoming launch of its second collaboration with JW Anderson.

It all started in 2018 when Moncler decided to launch the Moncler Genius project. The brand owes this project to Remo Ruffini, Moncler’s CEO since 2003, who had the ambition to create a brand new concept inviting leading designers to revisit the down jacket, the emblematic model of the house.

This concept wants to shake up the traditional rhythm of fashion! And continuously capture the public’s attention thanks to a monthly distribution in boutiques. The slogan is moreover “One House, Different Voices“, which refers to the principle of designers creating their own individual collections under one brand.

Since the creation of this concept, Moncler Genius has already worked with designers such as Craig Green, Simone Rocha, Richard Quinn, Matthew Williams from 1017 ALYX 9SM and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

Today Moncler is calling for the second time on Jonathan William Anderson, a young designer from Northern Ireland who has been able to impose his androgynous fashion over the last few years to the point of seducing the big luxury houses.

For his second collection with Moncler, JW Anderson was inspired by travellers on a journey. His collection will include bold Chelsea boots, quilted long coats, jumpers and parkas inspired by sailing. A collection that will make us want to embark on our own journey of adventure!

The Moncler collection by JW Anderson will be launched in March. Take a look at the last collaboration between Moncler and JW Aderson underneath and keep your eyes peeled for the new collaboration in the coming days.
