Even Black Widow wants to let her hair down and party once in a while. The redband trailer for Rough Night, starring Scarlett Johansson, has arrived and is definitely filled to the brim with raunchy bachelorette party shenanigans, expletive-laden dialogue and the small matter of a dead stripper.
The film seems to naturally take influence from Bridesmaids, but Bridesmaids was really good so why wouldn’t you? It’s a growing trend for studios to produce raunchy female comedies (last year’s Bad Moms was another) but it’s also refreshing to see an incredible female cast on display.
Joining Johansson are Kate McKinnon, Zoe Kravitz, Jillian Bell and Ilana Glazer, while the film will be directed by Broad City‘s Lucia Aniello.
If the film can be as great as Broad City then we have a hit on our hands, but even being competent would be a success amid a fairly dismal showing for recent comedies. Check out the trailer below.
