Tierra Whack has shared the brand new music video for her latest single “Link“, which was created in partnership with the LEGO Group.
In the process of developing the idea for the video, Tierra sat down with a group of school children in Philadelphia as a part of LEGO’s Rebuild The World campaign and as a result, their ideas turned into a launchpad for a music video.
The futuristic colourful brick-filled video, filled with different inter-galactic creatures, rocket launchers, hummingbirds and castles that were built by the children, and inspired by Whack’s childhood memories, was directed by Cat Solen, who previously worked on Tierra’s award-nominated video “Unemployed”.
Speaking about the video and collaboration with LEGO, Tierra Whack says, “I was so excited to work with kids because their energy is fun, exhilarating, never-ending, and full of surprises, I really trusted them, and I knew they were going to come up with something great. What I loved most about the process was being able to partner with such an iconic company like the LEGO Group because we could make anything happen!”
Tierra Whack is a Philadelphia rapper, singer and songwriter who originally performed as Dizzle Diz in her teenage years, but reverted to her birth name in 2017. A year after, in 2018 she debuted with her first studio album titled Whack World, which received widespread critical acclaim.
