Up and coming musician Tiger Darrow has teamed up with emerging vocalist Russell Elliot for her new single called “Sad Girls Club”. The addictive alt-pop banger is a sassy, upbeat guide on how to maintain a sad and melancholic image.
Tiger Darrow is a Texas born singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer currently based in New York. Having started out as a cellist, the artist contrasts in her music delicate string arrangements with modern dance-pop production. Her fresh and infectious sound is inspired by such hitmakers as Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and St. Vincent.
Darrow has already collaborated with the likes of Wakey!Wakey!, Pool Cosby and Yanni Burton. Her sings have been used in many award-wining films, including Cathy Yan‘s comedy-drama Dead Pigs and Oscar Sharp’s experimental sci-fi short film Sunspring. The singer has also shared the stage with many high-profile artists, like The Eagles, Zoe Keating and Erykah Badu.
For her latest offering, Tiger Darrow joined forces with promising R&B artist Russell Elliot. He first attracted major media attention following the release of his successful first music video for the track “Around“.
Since the premiere of his debut self-titled EP, confident and outspoken Elliot has created his own unmistakable style. In 2018, he dropped his second short album titled Split Ends and received praise from Billboard and Nylon magazine.
