Tom Hardy Signs Up For ‘100 Bullets’ | Film News

Although Tom Hardy dropped out of the Suicide Squad, he’s not done with comic-book based projects. He’s now attached to produce and potentially star in New Line Cinema‘s adaptation of the Vertigo title 100 Bullets.

The noir-styled crime saga by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso, ran for one hundred issues between 1999 and 2009, and tells the story of Agent Graves, who appears into people’s lives carrying a briefcase containing a gun and 100 untraceable rounds of ammunition, offering law-immune retribution for personal injustices. The story alternates in revolving around the people who are given the briefcases, and Graves’ group The Minutemen.

Chris Borelli has been given the pen on this one, but further details have been kept under wraps. Until then, you can see Tom Hardy star as the Kray Twins in Legend, set for a September 11 release.
